Oozing laid-back vibes, it has world-class surf, incredible gastronomy and a plethora of adventures waiting to be enjoyed. Eager to discover what I could find beyond the city’s beaches, I recently made the trip to explore NSW’s second city. If you too are in need of a new coastal holiday, here are five adventures to be had in Newcastle.
We had the pleasure of showing all-round action man, Tyson Mayr, the sights and delights of town during his recent visit to Newcastle on behalf of City of Newcastle and Destination NSW. We took him on The Essentials x The 'Burbs tour which hit on all the must-sees in town before diving into the suburbs.
