Crystalbrook Kingsley opened the doors to their hotel in June 2021 to a very warm reception from visitors and locals alike. The first 5-star hotel in Newcastle, the team hit the ground running only to be met by Lockdown 2.0 which was a speed bump to their operations. After onboarding a new team, developing F&B menus, marketing and dialling in hotel operations, they haven't really stopped.
Recognising the importance of re-calibrating as NSW re-opens the leadership team spent a few hours away from their desk to enjoy the sunshine, ride a bike and spend quality time with each other.

Our Solution
Newy Rides created a bespoke itinerary starting and finishing from the hotel. We spent 3 hours cycling through Newcastle and into the suburbs and enjoyed beer tasting samples at one of Newcastle's great craft beer breweries.
We were looking for a leadership team building activity that provided a point of difference and embraced the local history of Newcastle.
Ben from Newy Rides infused energy and excitement into the team and was able to encourage full participation from everybody. His knowledge of the local area really showed an authentic side to Newcastle which really made this outing an amazing experience to be part of.
As our business strongly embraces sustainability, engaging Newy Rides to showcase Newcastle to our team was the perfect fit. Our team discovered so many different aspects of our city that we were not aware of, which we can now share with our guests.
If you are wanting to plan a unique experience that highlights the wonderful areas of local Newcastle, the speak to Ben and the team at Newy Rides.
